The transformation from the Technical School building to the Waihi Arts Centre and Museum.
The Lee-Johnson Gallery as it is now known, was the brainchild of Eric Lee-Johnson and a committed group of locals who saw the potential in the old Tech School building.
We have a small collection of around 60 artworks, mostly watercolour paintings that have been gifted.
Waihi Arts Centre and Museum is a community asset which is managed by volunteers. New members are always welcome.
